Host Ben Miller is joined by Dan Roche, author of Eyes by Hand: Prosthetics of Art and Healing to discuss a curious object that quite literally catches the eye.


Dan Roche is a nonfiction writer who lives near Syracuse, NY. His latest book is Eyes by Hand: Prosthetics of Art and Healing. His writings have also appeared in Fourth Genre, Popular Science, Chautauqua, River Teeth, Another Chicago Magazine, JAMA, and other places. He’s received a fellowship in Nonfiction Literature from the New York Foundation of the Arts. He earned his Ph.D. in English from the University of Iowa, and he taught writing and literature for 25 years at Le Moyne College.
